Inspection Request

To schedule an inspection please send an email request to inspections@lagrangega.org. Please include your name, project address, permit number, type of inspection you are requesting, and a good contact number. All requests received prior to 4:00 p.m. will have inspections performed the next business day excluding holidays and inclement weather.

Permits required:

• Electrical
• Plumbing
• Gas
• Mechanical
• Land disturbance (to GSWCC requirements) - click for application
  • Note: EPD Intent forms available here, https://gaswcc.georgia.gov/notice-intent-forms. These forms are required for land distrurbance of 1 acre of more. Forms must be completed before completing the City of LaGrange Land Disturbance application.
• Signs (include drawing) - separate permit
• Plumbing (fire sprinkler and hood suppression systems)

Permits on commercial structures must be acquired by licensed trades.

Note: All permits must be posted

Inspections are required:

• Temporary power poles
• Footings, foundations and poured walls over 4 ft.
• Any under slab piping
• Structure wood framing
• Light gauge metal framing
• Insulation
• Fire walls
• Power on structure
• No certificate of occupancy will be issued until all lanscaping is in place
